The Food Pantry has served a record number of families in recent months and the shelves are bare in many places. Many items are currently unavailable at the Blue Ridge Area Food Bank where supplies for the Food Pantry are generally obtained. All local Food Pantry member congregations are asked to contribute food items to help restock the shelves before the next distribution scheduled for February 21. If you want to donate food, please place items in the usual area at the entrance of the Fellowship Hall. Canned fruit and hearty Campbell style meals and cereal are particularly needed, but contributions of any non-perishable food will be very much appreciated.
Help!! We need pies. The youth group will have a pie auction on Sunday, February 5 tohelp raise money for their Baja mission trip. Please make your favorite pie and bring it to the church on the 5th of February by 9:45 a.m. All are welcome to make a pie. A panel of five judges will make their determinations based on the following: angelic appearance, heavenly bound crust, devilishly tart, sinfully sweet, and best overall creation.

We are thankful for the excellent child care provided by Mary Lambert and Merrily Kohler during the worship hour on Sunday. The availability of a volunteer to assist them is also an important part of caring for our nursery children, 3-years and younger. Thank you for your willingness to help! The nursery volunteer schedule is available on the table in the Fellowship Hall.
Children's Church with Susan Quigley is provided every 2nd and 4th Sunday for children aged 4 through second grade.
